This standard is internationally recognized.
ISO 14001 standards is voluntary, with its main aim to assist companies in continually improving their environmental performance, while complying with any applicable legislation.
It deals with environmental management systems (EMS).
With this certification, SMAC underlines its commitment to be positioned on global aircraft manufacturers programs.

Le The Pléiades 1 Very High Resolution (VHR) Earth observation satellite recently left Astrium’s site in Toulouse for Kourou, where it is slated for launch in mid-December, plus, the four satellites of the Elisa constellation and the Chilean satellite SSOT, scheduled for the same flight, arrived in Kourou on October 21st. Satellites are equipped with dampers developed by SMAC.
High Resolution satellite
Pléiades 1 is the first component of a two-satellite system operated by Astrium Services. Pléiades will provide 50-cm optical products in record time, offering daily revisits to any point on the globe and acquisition capabilities tailored to meet the full spectrum of civil and military requirements. With 20km, the Pléiades satellites have the widest imaging swath in their class. The satellite’s extreme agility coupled with multiple acquisition modes makes the system very responsive to specific user requirements. In addition, automated production flowlines help fast delivery of ortho-rectified products.
Astrium Services expects Pléiades imagery and services to be commercially available next March, approximately 3 months after the launch.
With four optical and radar satellites in orbit and four new imaging satellites to launch over the next two years, Astrium Services, through its extensive geo-information range of products and services, is gearing up to bring its customers the best that space technology has to offer, ensuring continuity of service up to 2023.
At the Zhuhai 6 hours, the last round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup 2011, Sebastien Bourdais and Anthony Davidson gave the Peugeot 908 its sixth victory in seven races. Strong suppliers make the difference
One of Galland’s main goals, CEO of Boeing France, was to integrate Boeing into the “local fabric” of France. “Leveraging the supplier, having them working together with us around Boeing goals and objectives, is absolutely key in my opinion for Boeing all over the world, when possible,” he said.

A total of ten French companies, among which there are also Zodiac, which will provide 100% of the seats of 55 B 787 ordered by ANA and management systems and waste water and slides, Dassault Systems (Catia) Messier Dowty Michelin and boarded the program which counts 821 orders from 56 airlines. According to several experts, the B 787 alone should generate between 600 and 800 million dollars in sales per year for the French industrial partners.
Nevertheless Boeing is prudent, to ensure the delays, the company spreads about 20 engineers in charge of the partners’ quality.
“Today, nobody wants to be the supplier responsible of delays within the 787 production” says Olivier Zarrouti, the zodiac CEO.
